Three finalists for the final of the 9th Suggia International Prize
Florianne Remme, Karolína Žáková and Ziyang Zhao
Following the recital rounds on 27 and 28 June, three young cellists will take to the stage at the Sala Suggia for the final round on Friday 3 July at 9.00 pm, accompanied by the Porto Casa da Música Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Jan Wierzba.

New artistic appointments for the Orquestra Sinfónica and Coro
Ludovic Morlot and Léo Warynski take on new artistic roles at Casa da Música
Ludovic Morlot will be the new Principal Conductor-Designate of the Orquestra Sinfónica do Porto Casa da Música, taking up his post as Conductor-Designate in January 2027 and as Principal Conductor in September 2027. Léo Warynski takes up the post of Principal Conductor of the Coro Casa da Música and Conductor-in-Residence with immediate effect.

An immersive experience where music, space and intimacy are reinvented with every encounter.
Remix Chamber offers a fresh and unexpected perspective on the Remix Ensemble at Casa da Música, shifting the musical experience to little-explored areas of the building. Instead of the traditional stage-front format, the musicians appear in unexpected spaces — corridors, foyers, architectural nooks — transformed into places for listening and discovery.
