The Fundação Casa da Música was established through a partnership between the Portuguese State, the Municipality of Porto, and private entities. Its goal is to manage the Casa da Música building and develop artistic and educational programming in the field of music, including the organization of musical performances, the promotion of new creative work, and enhance access to music.
To fulfil its mission, the Fundação Casa da Música has relied on financial support from both public and private entities. These contributions are exclusively dedicated to funding the artistic and educational programming – the concert series and educational activities that form the core of each annual season.
Casa da Música acknowledges and expresses its gratitude to its Patrons and Sponsors, whose support has been crucial to the public success of its programming and to the vibrancy of Casa da Música. Without them, Casa da Música would not be what it is today.
