Resonances: Hèctor Parra

The residency of Catalan composer Hèctor Parra will last for two years, the first of which will be dedicated to promoting some of his major works to Portuguese audiences. Four of the pieces scheduled for concerts by the Symphony Orchestra and the Remix Ensemble reveal his special relationship with other artistic disciplines: literature, science and the visual arts. Inscape brings together these two groups, while Orgia – Irrisorio alito d’aria, a work inspired by Pasolini, brings together the Baroque Orchestra and the Remix Ensemble. Hèctor Parra’s artistic residency also extends to Digitópia, in another edition of the Porto Electronic Music Symposium.
