A symphony orchestra is a territory open to revolutionary experiments, and this concert is proof of that. Mason Bates has created a symphonietta designed as a computer code that grows organically on its own. Gabriel Prokofiev proposes a concert in which the soloist is the DJ, a master of turntable manipulation. The line-up also includes Beethoven9 Remix, a new take on Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. Immensely creative music presented by Casa da Música in Matosinhos.
