CORO CASA DA MÚSICA
Coro Casa da Música focuses on the works of Alejandro Yagüe, a contemporary Spanish composer who passed away in 2017, combining them with pieces by Portuguese authors from our time. From Vasco Negreiros’ modern language to the memorial context of Pinho Vargas’ piece, ending with popular songs characterized by rhythmic energy in demanding arrangements by Sérgio Azevedo, the program builds an stimulating dialogue between the music of the two Iberian countries. Leading the concert is Nacho Rodríguez, particularly recognized and awarded for his work as founder and principal conductor of the ensemble Los Afectos Diversos.
