Ten years ago, five friends brought together by jazz, a shared desire to discover music collectively, and a passion for writing songs in Portuguese formed Cassete Pirata. Their debut album, A Montra, was considered one of the year’s best releases by Antena 3 and cemented the band’s image as a breath of fresh air within the Portuguese indie rock scene.
