Guided Visits – Schools
The Casa da Música invites all school students to celebrate the magic of music and to get to know one of the reference icons of contemporary architecture. Through carefully planned routes, students participate in various ludic activities, enabling a better understanding of the functionality of the various spaces, as well as the different artistic and cultural aspects of the building.
From brief musical auditions (whenever possible) to exploratory and interactive experiences, these activities take advantage of the various facilities and instruments available along the way, enhancing the ludic dimension, which is essential in interactive processes involving students.
Music and sound form the basis of this communication strategy, as part of a methodology aimed at enhancing students through including significant skills and knowledge.
It is also possible to address specific topics requested by schools, according to the formative interests of the students, which will benefit them in several aspects as this:
· Provides a stimulating, fun, and highly educational experience;
· Allows for the integration of new knowledge and foundational skills in the field of musical and artistic culture;
· Increases their appreciation for music, through a process of personal enhancement;
· Raises awareness about the richness of our cultural heritage.

Please note that visits to Casa da Música spaces are subject to Casa da Música’s schedule. You should check the available spaces on the day of the guided tour at the Casa da Música ticket office;
Visits to Casa da Música can only be conducted in the presence of a guide.
