Summer at Casa

From the night of São João, in the unloading bay at Casa da Música, to September in Avenida dos Aliados, the summer programme is a synonym for a range of formats, genres and stages. Dozens of concerts will be performed including symphonic music, new rock, pop and jazz releases, not to mention the art of DJing, philharmonic bands, fado and much more besides. The Orquestra Sinfónica will accompany the winner of the Suggia Prize (cello) and the finalists of the Santa Cecília International Piano Competition, in addition to presenting appealing programmes in open-air concerts in various towns within the metropolitan area. Sonópolis’s festival of colour, the Coro Infantil Casa da Música, the Folefest accordion festival prize winners, the end-of-year concerts by the vocational schools… In other words, this is an invitation to everyone to enjoy the music that permeates the walls of Casa da Música.
