Autumn in Jazz
For more than 10 years, Casa da Música has been programming Autumn in Jazz according to the premise of not imposing preconceived limits on the genre. Diversity and the blurring of aesthetic boundaries have permeated the existence of this festival at the drop of a hat, which is always predisposed to revealing new explorations of sound that, wherever they come from, push forward the feeling of what jazz is. Established projects cohabit the successive posters with emerging voices that deserve to be heard. As if in a magic cube, we present multiple facets of jazz, all of them capable of engaging in dialogue with each other and, without losing what differentiates them, inhabiting a common body. This is also the case this year, in an edition marked by the presentation of new discs.
