Olga Kern
Winning the gold medal at the Van Cliburn Competition in 2001, with a remarkable performance of Rachmaninoff’s 3rd Piano Concerto, gave Olga Kern a legendary status in the piano universe. At the age of 17, she had already won the 1st prize at the Rachmaninoff Competition in Russia, but it was after her victory in the United States that she launched onto the international stage. In her first recital at Casa da Música, she treats the audience to her favorite composer.
