Leo Bianchini & Gianni Cappiello

Concerts on the Terrace · Summer Time · FREE ENTRY

After 15 years with the Brazilian group 5 a Seco – a period that took him to the country’s most important stages and earned him a Latin Grammy nomination – Leo Bianchini crossed the Atlantic with the intention of pursuing, in Europe, the path of improvisation, expanded song, and the open borders of jazz. After releasing two albums, Gianni Cappiello, an Italian jazz pianist and a sensitive, luminous artist, stepped away from the stage for over 20 years. His return happened as unexpectedly as it was natural. Captivated by Leo’s music, he began a deep collaboration with him that time has only strengthened. Tonight’s concert, based on the duo’s first and brand‑new album, navigates the wide territories of their origins – contemporary Italian jazz and Brazilian song.
