Cassandra Cunha

In 2021, when she won the EDP Tanto Fado competition, Cassandra Cunha knew she was going to make a career. The emotional intensity of fado is what the artist from Trás-os-Montes seeks to convey in every poem she sings, currently focusing on building a repertoire that pays tribute to the legacy of ancient composers and poets. Having performed concerts at important festivals and in some of the country’s main fado houses, Cassandra Cunha is now preparing her debut album.
