Bruckner’s Secrets

We set out to discover Bruckner’s last symphony, a monument of devotion to God that the composer never finished. The choice of the key of D minor, the same as Mozart’s Requiem and Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, reveals the composer’s intentions, who referred to the third movement of the symphony – the last one he completed – as a farewell to life.
