19.º CURSO DE FORMAÇÃO DE ANIMADORES MUSICAIS
The need to train musicians who are prepared to energise activities with communities and lead creative interventions led us to create this course back in 2005. 18 editions later, the panorama is better, but the relevance of our training and artistic proposal prevails. There are now more than 200 musicians that this programme, which takes place every academic year, has trained. Some are involved in projects throughout the country, others work in various parts of the world. And many are now trainers at this Educational Service. Improvisation, interaction, leadership and teamwork are skills that are enhanced in a programme of musical creation and animation associated with artistic projects with communities from different socio-cultural backgrounds. The training – led by internationally recognised creators – is also an opportunity for the trainees to enhance themselves as performers, establishing themselves as a musical ensemble.
