With a 25-year career, João Farinha is an unmistakable voice in Coimbra fado. Both as a solo artist and with the group Fado Ao Centro, which he founded in 2011, his original compositions have been heard in all corners of the world.

Five albums after his first tour in Argentina, at just 18 years old with only a guitar as company, Middea arrives at Casa da Música preceded by a 3rd place win in the 2024 Festival da Canção and sold-out venues around the world.

With a remarkable academic background, including studies under Maria João Pires at the Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth, Daniel Blumenthal at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, and Milana Chernyavska at the Reina Sofia School in Madrid, Rafael Kyrychenko has been awarded prizes at international competitions such as Maria Canals, Aarhus, Lugano, and Vigo.
