Winner of several Grammy Awards and an undisputed reference in world music, Hamilton de Holanda joins Orquestra Portuguesa de Guitarras e Bandolins, currently one of the most important European plectrum orchestras, to honour Brazil and Portugal's rich musical heritage in a programme full of virtuosity, colour and tropical sounds.

The city of Maia is hosting a special concert featuring some of the most beautiful orchestral melodies of all time. All of them are instrumental moments from famous operas that remain in the repertoire of orchestras all over the world.

The annual Heirs' Ceremony has arrived in the small village where everyone both fears and eagerly anticipates the traditional visit of Good and Evil to choose two new heirs, one for each of their realms, in order to perpetuate the Duality that forms the Human World. Two girls were chosen, Bela and Flora. Blood sisters yet so different, they will strive to surprise us with an ending that could be none other than a testament to the great Love that unites them.

On Wednesdays, the terrace hosts vocational music schools, giving them the opportunity to showcase, in various formations and styles, the work they have developed throughout the school year.

With a 10-year career and three albums out, the last of which was live, Vitrolab is made up of brothers Guga (vocals and guitar) and Marcelo Barbosa (vocals, bass and programming).

A tribute to Thad Jones, the trumpeter, composer and arranger who co-founded one of the most impactful orchestras on the New York jazz scene with drummer Mel Lewis. There's no one better than Nick Marchione, the first trumpet of the current Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, to lead Orquestra Jazz de Matosinhos through the sonorities of Thad Jones' themes.

A symphony orchestra is a territory open to revolutionary experiments, and this concert is proof of that. Mason Bates has created a symphonietta designed as a computer code that grows organically on its own. Gabriel Prokofiev proposes a concert in which the soloist is the DJ, a master of turntable manipulation. The line-up also includes Beethoven9 Remix, a new take on Beethoven's Ninth Symphony. Immensely creative music presented by Casa da Música in Matosinhos.
